This coloring book forged a new direction for Vintage Coloring in that the illustrations contained within were drawn by Curator Prime based on inspirations from the original source, which in this case was a two book collection released in 1795 by architect Paul Decker of his drawings made while visiting China.
The collection contained drawings of everything from fences to pagodas to garden seats and temples. The coloring page illustrations are hand-drawn adaptations of various fence designs adapted into full page geometric patterns.
This PDF version of Inspired by Paul Decker, Vol. 1, contains the same number of illustrations as the print version. You will find all of the pages represented in the Product Gallery. There are 20 full page (8.5″ x 11″) illustrations, and 20, 4” x 6” postcard-sized versions of the individual elements that created the preceding artwork.
