Sir John Tenniel (1820-1914), an English illustrator, is perhaps best known for the artwork he created for Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and the sequel, Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There. Knighted in 1893, he also drew political cartoons for the British magazine Punch for over fifty years.

There are many “Alice in Wonderland” coloring books available, however, this one presents all forty-two illustrations from the novel. The now iconic representations of Alice, the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter, the Gryphon and the Mock Turtle, and the White Rabbit are joined by less familiar characters such as the members of the Caucus-Race, the Duchess, Father William and his son, and a personal favorite, Bill the Lizard.

This PDF version of The Art of John Tenniel: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, contains the same number of illustrations as the print version. You will find all of the pages represented in the Product Gallery.
